Eagle on Old Nancy tractor


This eagle is a familiar sight for those who marvel at Old Nancy, a 1905 Case steam traction engine, displayed each year at Ag Roundup—an Auburn homecoming tradition. The tractor, which was owned by the Whatley family of Lee County, was restored by biosystems engineering students in the 1970s and remains an icon of the BSEN department. Old Nancy is displayed and operated by BSEN faculty and students at several events each year, including Ag Roundup—a super-sized tailgate party that draws thousands of Auburn fans. Read more.
