Mission:

The Alabama Bicycle Coalition, AlaBike, was formed in September of 2003, to promote cycling access, education and safety, to advocate for safer road environments for all users, and to act as a statewide voice to encourage bicycling in Alabama.

1. Safe Routes to Schools (SRTS)
2. Education for motorists and cyclists
3. Contact with ALDOT to build Complete Streets
4. AlaBike runs a week-long bike ride or a century ride annually as a fundraiser. For 2011 it will Alabama’s Magnificent Bicycle Adventure (AMBA)
5. AlaBike is a 501(c)3 npo since 2005
