Horse Camp Anyone?
Auburn Equestrian is one of only a few colleges nationwide offering summer camps for junior competitors. This unique collegiate program concentrates on fundamental training and the development of equestrian skills.
Day Camps are designed for students ages 7 and older. During this program, each student learns about horse care, horse maintenance and basic riding principles. This camp accommodates a wide range of students from beginners, to those with limited horse show experience.ÊIt is a fun environment intended to expand the student's equestrian knowledge.
Resident Camps are designed for the advanced rider.These camps feature a more intensive regimen.
Resident Camps stress equitation training over fences and on the flat, for hunt seat, as well as horsemanship and reining for Western and emphasize the skills needed to compete at the collegiate level.
Camp dates include the following:
- June 6-9: Resident Camp
- June 13-17: Day Camp
- July 11-14: Resident Camp
- July 25-28: Resident Camp
- August 1-5: Day Camp
