FATHER AND SON TRAVELS—Diego Gimenez, right, and his son, Diego III, spoke recently to the Russellville Civitan Club about their travels to Cuba as part of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System’s Speakers Bureau. The elder Gimenez is a native of Cuba who, after years of exile following Castro’s rise to power, returned there in 2003. Diego III and his brother, Henry, visited Cuba in 2002.
